BANDUNG – Covid-19 Pandemic which has not ended yet makes many people need help to support their lives. Humanitarian support and mutual cooperation are channeled by bank bjb together with employees in order to encourage government efforts to accelerate the prevention of Covid-19 outbreak in the country. This time, bank bjb distributes the assistance through Jabar Bergerak (West Java Moving) which is a community based on public awareness in developing West Java. Existing components in the body of West Java Moving consists of community, activists, practical, businessman, academics, to the elements of volunteerism that love and support the realization of the Inner and Outer Champion.
Located in Pakuan Building (5/14) symbolically the assistance was directly received by the Chairperson of West Java Moving Atalia Praratya Kamil and West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. On this occasion, bank bjb provides two assistance at once, first aid in the form of 54.000 rice boxes distributed to 27 cities/regencies in West Java and followed with the delivery of aid from GreatPeople bjb Cares in the form of 1000 food packages for people affected by Covid-19. Assistance from GreatPeople bjb Cares was represented by GreatPeople bjb Cares team, representatives of Sekar bank bjb and bjb Club representatives.
GreatPeople bjb Cares Program is a collection of donations from bjb bank employees, with the aim to help our fellow brothers and sisters affected by Covid-19 pendemic crisis especially those who are experiencing financial hardship. Bank bjb employees can send financial assistance through existing account that has been provided or through direct salary deductions for some time. Funds collected through this program as of May 8, 2020 have reached Rp.444.908.518. As for the distribution done by representatives of bank bjb employees through West Java Moving. In addition, the distribution of assistance was also carried out bank bjb offices network to the public and agencies that require direct assistance such as hospitals and institutions.
