BANDUNG – Regional income potential, one of which is sourced from taxes, still needs to be boosted to gain more optimal results. In the context of this optimization, bank bjb has established a synergy with Pangandaran Regency Government to boost revenues from Motorized Vehicle Tax (PKB) in the coastal city area.
The active involvement of bank bjb in synergy to lead the plans of local government was discussed in a monitoring and evaluation meeting of PKB payment cooperation through Payment Point Online Bank (PPOB) which was held at Samsat Pangandaran Office Hall on July 2-3, 2020.
In this meeting, two strategies outlined to be implemented by bank bjb in encouraging the intensification of PKB's income. The first strategy is carried out through the company's involvement in the Vehicle Tax Obedience Zone (Zonita Pamor), while the second strategy is service penetration through cooperation with Village Owned Entreprises (BUMDes).
Zonita Pamor policy is part of collaboration between government structures in West Java to increase taxpayer compliance by placing State Civil Apparatus (ASN) & their families as pioneers of tax compliance. bank bjb itself has the role of providing tax payment instruments through e-Samsat payment platform.
While with BUMDes, bank bjb provides tax payment facilities via PPOB, in-kind conversion, or tax savings by cooperating with businesses in the financial sector. Besides PKB, bank bjb also provides PBB payment facilities to residents who want to conduct tax payments via BUMDes.
"This synergy is a tangible form of bank bjb commitment in realizing regional prosperity. Bank bjb will continue to support the government's plan to accelerate revenue absorption for the smooth development of public welfare programs in all over the country," said the Head of Corporate Secretary Division bank bjb, Widi Hartoto.
