In synergy with West Java Provincial Office of Cooperatives and Small Businesses, bank bjb held MSMEs Champion Consolidation Meeting on Tuesday (8/9/2020). The virtual meeting, was attended by 97 Participants from 27 Heads of bank bjb Branch Offices, 35 Heads of Regency / City Cooperatives and MSME Services and accompanying staff member.
The meeting discussed various matters related to government and bank bjb strategic efforts in encouraging the MSME sector, especially in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Both parties are committed to constantly provide the facilitates needed to increase the competitiveness of MSME players.
Head of Corporate Secretary Division bank bjb Widi Hartoto said that MSMEs are an important element that enlivens the pulse of society’s economy. If the activities of MSMEs become immobile it will give a huge impact, especially on people who depend on MSME sector for their livelihoods.
"Since COVID-19 first hit in Indonesia, bank bjb has become one of the banks that gave ultimate prompt response to this situation. One of them is by providing various stimulations to MSME players, through credit restructuring, business assistance through Community Economic Empowerment (PESAT) program, to distribute PEN funds. We are committed to constantly implement the necessary steps so that MSMEs can adapt to changes so they can survive and continue to develop, "said Widi.
Head of MSME Credit Division of bank bjb Denny Mulyadi added that "bank bjb invites MSMEs assistants to continue to join hands with bank bjb, especially in succeeding the PEN program. He also left a message so that MSMEs can take advantage of the Prosperous Economic Community Credit (bjb MESRA) facility which is specially designed to support MSMEs in developing their business scale."

Head of West Java Provincial Office of Cooperatives and Small Businesses Kusmana Hartadji expressed his gratitude for the role of bank bjb who stay committed in supporting local government programs, and has always been a partner in growing and developing MSMEs, as well as to bring solution for business capital and empowerment including emphasizing that MESRA Credit can be absorbed by MSME players who are still growing.
