Located at Al Ittifaq Islamic Boarding School, Rancabali District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province on Saturday (3/10/2020), bank bjb participated in implementing financial inclusion programs and sharia finance at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Economy.
The event, which is part of an effort to empower the economy at pesantren was attended by Denny Mulyadi, head of MSME credit division bank bjb, head of Soreang branch office (KC) bank bjb, Jadi Kusmaryadi, caretaker of Al-Ittifaq Islamic boarding school Fuad Afandi, Member of Commission VIII DPR RI Maman Imanulhaq, Buya Syakur Yasin, and representatives of PT Telkom.

As part of the effort to implement financial inclusion, bank bjb signed an MoU with Al-Ittifaq Islamic boarding school on financial services and empowerment of business actors for Islamic boarding schools and the community through bank bjb Integrated Community Economic Empowerment (PESAT) program.
In addition, bank bjb also provides financing facilities with no collateral in the form of Prosperous Economic Community Credit (Mesra) to strawberry farmers in Pasirjambu Asep Supriatna, as well as distributing People's Business Credit (KUR) to vegetable traders on behalf of Arindi Sulistyani.
This cooperation and financing steps are in line with West Java Provincial Government program and as an effort to implement bank bjb financial inclusion to encourage economic empowerment in Islamic boarding schools.
