JAKARTA – bank bjb once again gain the government's trust to succeed in establishing million houses program in 2021. This trust is reflected in the re-appointment of bank bjb as the implementing bank in disbursing People's Housing Credit for Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (KPR FLPP) for Low-Income Communities (MBR) in 2021.
Located at the Auditorium of Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Friday (18/12/2020), bank bjb signed an Operational Cooperation Agreement (PKO) for FLPP KPR distribution with Housing Financing Fund Management Center (PPDPP) of the Ministry of PUPR.
The PKO signing was attended by Director of Consumer and Retail bank bjb Suartini, Head of KPR & KKB Division bank bjb Yusuf Saadudin, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, Secretary General of PUPR Anita Firmanti Eko Susetyowati, Director General of Public Works Infrastructure Financing and Public Housing of Ministry of PUPR Eko D. Heripoerwanto, Managing Director PPDPP Ministry of PUPR Arief Sabarudin and the directors of national banks and other BPDs who are trusted as direct and online channeling banks.
Director of Consumer and Retail bank bjb Suartini said bank bjb is ready to repay the government's trust by optimizing resources and support in succeeding million houses program. Mobilization of company resources will primarily be implemented in channeling quality financing.
"bank bjb will mobilize all the resources owned by the company to boost the implementation of one million houses program launched by the government. Along with that, the company will maintain its commitment to participate in channeling financing for quality housing and to provide excellent service to satisfy the beneficiaries of this program," said Suartini.
The re-appointment of bank bjb as a channeling partner institution was carried out after passing several stages of assessment and verification. bank bjb has managed to regain the government's trust thanks to its impressive FLPP KPR disbursement portfolio during 2020.
Bank bjb has successfully distributed KPR FLPP to finance 5.386 residential units or 102% of the financing realization target for 5.275 units. This disbursement figure exceeds the quota target repeats the company's success in 2019 where bank bjb succeeded in exceeding the distribution target of FLPP KPR with the realization of 100.05% from its target.
The success of exceeding KPR disbursement target is one of the assessment instruments carried out by the Ministry of PUPR. Implementing banks that sign PKO have been evaluated by PPDPP of the Ministry of PUPR based on the results of performance evaluation on the realization of FLPP Fund disbursement from the first to fourth quarter of 2020, with elements of performance appraisal in the verification process, results of field monitoring related to target accuracy, including implementation support, and financial performance indicator.
In 2021, bank bjb is targeting FLPP KPR disbursement to reach around 5.700 units in its early stages. To achieve this target, bank bjb has prepared a special strategy which include by arranging priority segments for MBR category customers, as well as mapping potential areas for FLPP KPR distribution. Reflecting on the track record in previous years, as well as the prospect of economic revival in 2020, bank bjb is optimistic that it will be able to repeatedly exceed the target and success in million houses program.
