PURWAKARTA – bank bjb continues to maintain its commitment in supporting the efforts to accelerate the national economic recovery (PEN) which is proclaimed by the government. One of these efforts is to optimize the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) cluster to certain community groups.

The distribution of KUR Cluster from bank bjb has been received by a number of parties, including farmers assisted by CV Mutiara Bumi who cultivate corn farming, Pasir Munjul Village, Sukatani District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java Province.

To ensure the smooth running of the farmers' business as recipients of KUR facilities, bank bjb participated in a visit to agricultural land in the agenda of monitoring and evaluating the KUR Cluster program on Friday (5/2/2021). The visit was carried out by Assistant Deputy for Capital Market and Financial Institutions at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Gede Edy Prasetya, Commercial and MSME Director of bank bjb Nancy Adistyasari along with bank bjb management and Director of CV Mutiara Bumi Hesti Yuliastanti.

The farmers who receive the KUR facility are one of the community groups who are the priority targets in the distribution of this KUR Cluster.

This KUR financing for the farmers assisted by CV Mutiara Bumi is the umpteenth time distributed by bank bjb. Previously, bank bjb had collaborated with CV Mutiara Bumi to provide financial support to assisted farmers spread across several areas, including Purwakarta, Indramayu, Majalengka, Surabaya, Tuban, Blora, Bojonegoro and Semarang.

One of bank bjb strategies in distributing the KUR Cluster is a partnership cooperation scheme, including cooperation with CV Mutiara Bumi. The purpose of this cooperation is to increase the scale of farmers' businesses with a partnership method from upstream to downstream, in the form of support from the planting period to absorption of the harvest, as well as guarantee of a return on capital for crop failure due to pest attacks.
