BANDUNG – bank bjb held a Kick Off Meeting on the implementation of ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP), Tuesday, July 13, 2021. This was done as a form of the company's commitment in implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and as one of the efforts to support the spirit of eradicating corruption promoted by the Government.
In this event, President Director of bank bjb Yuddy Renaldi and the Independent President Commissioner of bank bjb Farid Rahman signed a Joint Commitment as a symbolic form that bank bjb is committed to establish SMAP based on ISO 37001:2016 International Standards. The event was also attended by the Operational Director of bank bjb Tedi Setiawan, Director of Finance bank bjb Nia Kania, and Director of Commercial and MSME bank bjb Nancy Adistyasari.
The implementation of ISO 37001 SMAP at bank bjb is done based on the Presidential Instruction Number 10 of 2016 regarding Actions for Prevention and Eradication of Corruption in 2016 and 2017. President Director of bank bjb Yuddy Renaldi said the Kick Off Meeting is part of bank bjb's initial commitment to achieve SNI ISO 37001 SMAP certification at the end of November 2021.
"This Kick Off Meeting is a form of bank bjb's initial commitment in implementing SMAP. It is expected that bank bjb will have obtained the SNI ISO 37001 SMAP certification by the end of November 2021. Therefore, the company has also formed a Task Force Team called Anti-Bribery Compliance Function Team (FKAP) and a Supporting Team to monitor the implementation," said Yuddy.
